On September 22, 2026, SYNTH ANATOMY published an article about IMFMSynth. A writer there came across the discussion on the KVR forum and wrote it up.
The article mentions the retro-game look of the UI, but what surprised me most was how detailed it is. The filter and operator matrix and the FM phase-offset inputs are aimed at advanced users, so they sit in less prominent places in the UI — yet the writer found them and covered them in the article. That is SYNTH ANATOMY for you. I was so pleased that I emailed them, and they kindly allowed me to feature the article on the official site, which is why I am writing this.
The article also mentions the upcoming major update. IMFMSynth has now been bought by people in more than 10 countries. I will keep developing it responsibly.
Especially until the major update, I intend to reflect customer feedback in IMFMSynth. Just recently I added several suggestions I actually received to my task board.
