The User Manual Is Ready

Some of you asked for a user manual, so I built one over the last few days and have now published it.

One thing I have noticed lately is that people think in different ways: some in language, some in sound, some in voice, some in visual information. Each has strengths and weaknesses, so I felt it was worth offering more than one way in. Over the last few days I prepared a video explanation (sound, a human voice and visuals, explaining in words) as well as a written one.

I also quietly added third-party reviews to the official page recently.

Another thing I noticed: some parts of the German translation overflow their space in the UI. I will fix that later.

I think of the evaluation of software as a bucket with holes in it. Or perhaps as judging the quality of a protein by its amino acid balance. However good a piece of software is, if any one of its features, UI, speed, user manual, support or third-party reception falls short, that shortfall drags down the verdict on the whole.

Within what I can do, I will keep raising the quality on every one of those fronts.

What I would ask of you here is, well, a bit of sales work (lol). If you know someone who might like it, I would be glad if you told them. That said, I do not like pushing low-quality things on people, so only if you truly come to like IMFMSynth.

I have also started free licenses for creators who introduce IMFMSynth in new videos, articles and the like, so please have a look at that as well.

That is all for now.
